Our personal assistive technology, also called ‘technology enabled living’, is a suite of technology solutions that are designed to give peace of mind and help people live confidently and independently in their homes and communities. Our technology packages can be tailored to meet individual needs, and are designed to improve safety, security, and wellbeing. 

Anyone who needs assistance with daily living tasks or who wants to stay safe and independent can benefit from technology enabled living. This includes older people, people with physical disabilities or learning disabilities, and those who live or work alone in potentially risky or harmful situations.

Technology enabled living is another way of saying assistive technology. You may also hear it called telecare technology or support, or you might recognise some of the more commonly-used technology, such as pendant alarms, wrist alarms and pull cords. 

The devices in our packages are connected directly to our 24-hour support team, and depending on the set up can involve them calling a caregiver or loved one when you need support or help. If a device detects a potential issue, such as a fall or an extreme temperature within a room, an alert is sent to our team, who can then check in and take appropriate action as needed.

To get started, simply contact us to arrange a consultation. Our team will work with you, and your loved ones, if you wish, to assess your needs, choose the technology solutions that are most appropriate and recommend a package that meets your personal requirements. Our friendly team of installers will then visit to set up and help you use the technology. It is designed to be easy to use and user-friendly, and we can provide ongoing support as needed.

We work with our customers to identify the solutions that will be most beneficial to you, and all our packages can be customised to meet your specific needs. 

If you live in one of our supported living properties or retirement communities, our assistive technology solutions can be integrated with the property's existing support services, where available, for added safety, security, and peace of mind.

The cost of the package varies depending on your specific needs and the devices included. We offer a range of packages to suit different budgets, with pricing starting from as little as £4.50 per week. Yes, our technology solutions can be used by anyone who requires assistive technology to help them live independently and with more confidence. You don't need to live in a Sanctuary Supported Living property to benefit from our technology enabled living packages.  

Our Technology enabled living team are on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to help resolve any issues as quickly as possible. 

Yes, our technology solutions are designed with security and privacy in mind. Your personal data is protected and is only used in accordance with data protection laws.

Yes, family members or caregivers can be granted access to the technology, if you choose to do so. This can help to provide additional support and peace of mind to both you and your loved ones. 

Yes, we offer a trial period for our Technology enabled living solutions. This allows you to test the technology before committing to a package and ensure that it is right for you. 

If you move house or your circumstances change, we can work with you to make any necessary adjustments to your technology package to ensure that it continues to meet your needs.
