About us
We provide housing management support for adults aged 18 and over, who are homeless, or at risk of being homeless, and have a learning disability, physical disability or mental health need.
- Staff can provide support during office hours, Monday to Friday.
- Long-term low-level housing management support
- Self-contained flats with communal garden
Accommodation
Location
Brighton city centre, within walking distance of shops, supermarkets, Preston Park, Varndean College and the seafront.
Accommodation type
9 self-contained unfurnished one-bedroom flats, each with a bedroom, lounge/diner, kitchen and accessible shower room.
Communal areas
Shared garden, with level access throughout the building.
Safety and security
A secure door access system helps to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Rental agreement type
All flats are let on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at Charles Busby House, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Be able to prove a connection to Brighton and Hove
- Require low-level housing management support
- Have a learning disability, physical disability or mental health need
How do I apply?
To apply directly, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from Brighton and Hove City Council.
Referrals may also be accepted for tenants who are moving on from another local Sanctuary Supported Living service. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
