About us
Epworth House has 13 self-contained flats. We provide personal care and support for adults aged 18 and over, with a range of learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, encouraging them to develop their skills and live as independently as possible.

Inspected and rated by the CQC
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the national independent regulator of all health and social care services in England.
They inspect and monitor care homes, nursing homes and supported housing where personal care is provided and produce reports about them, to help you find a service that suits you.

Location
A quiet, residential area of Winshill, two miles from Burton-on-Trent town centre, within reach of shops, supermarkets, Newton park and a bus stop.
Accommodation type
13 self-contained and part-furnished one-bedroom flats spread across two floors. Two flats have accessible bathrooms.
Communal areas
Communal lounge, kitchen and a garden.
Safety and security
Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system to ensure residents’ safety and security and an out-of-hours telephone service.
Technology
Integrated emergency pull cord alarm system throughout and personal pendant alarm available.
Rental agreement type
All flats are let on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement.

To be eligible for a place at Epworth House, applicants must:
- Be 18 years or over
- Have a learning disability or autism

To apply, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from Staffordshire County Council. All care and support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
