About us
Located on the Ipswich waterfront, Avalon Court has 14 self-contained apartments for adults with a physical disability or learning disability.
We provide long-term personal care and support for residents aged 18 or over, who have physical or learning disabilities.
- Staff on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week
- Long-term supported housing with personal care
- Integrated and mobile assistive technology
- Communal facilities including a lounge, a bathroom and a garden
Inspected and rated by the CQC
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the national independent regulator of all health and social care services in England.
They inspect and monitor care homes, nursing homes and supported housing where personal care is provided and produce reports about them, to help you find a service that suits you.
Staff at Avalon Court provide CQC-registered care and support. Our CQC-registered name is Sanctuary Supported Living – Suffolk Domiciliary Care.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at Avalon Court, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have a physical disability or learning disability
- Require a minimum of six hours' care and support per week
How do I apply?
We accept referrals from Ipswich Borough Council.
All care and support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
