Staff at a retirement community in Gravesend are delighted to have upheld their 5-star food hygiene rating after a surprise inspection earlier this week.
The Food Standards Agency has awarded the top food hygiene rating to Wimborne House’s onsite restaurant, which is called Taste. This recognition reflects the exceptional standards maintained at the retirement community, which is run by Sanctuary Supported Living and offers apartments with communal facilities for those over 55 and individuals with long-term care needs. During the unannounced visit, inspectors found that Wimborne House continues to meet the highest hygiene and food safety standards. The team, led by Karen Healy during the inspection, demonstrated outstanding commitment to ensuring that residents and their guests receive delicious and nutritious meals, prepared in a safe and hygienic environment.
